Our note
Every child needs their own camera and something to hold it steady, and a phone counts. Check who is supplying that before you sign anyone up, because it is not included.

What the children do

A six week after school stop motion animation class for children aged 10 to 13, taught by Joshua Eliaou Tuil. Children make characters, build simple scenes and turn them into short animated sequences using clay animation, paper cut outs and pixilation. Each participant must have access to a camera and a tripod or camera stand, and a phone camera works. Fridays 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm, 11 September to 16 October 2026. The fee covers one child for the whole series.

Build characters and small sets on a table, move them a fraction at a time and photograph each frame, and sometimes step in front of the camera and become the animated character themselves. By the end each child has a short film.

Good to know

Nothing is published about washrooms, lunch space, parking or step free access at the classroom, so ask before you commit.

Sources disagree. Their own class pages give two different postal codes for the same building on Oyster Bay Drive. The street number and town match on both, so either will get you there. The second one is also the postal code on their mailing box, so use the first if you are sending anything to the building.
