Our note

Same teacher and same materials as the younger class, just an hour later and pitched older. Children come in clothes that can get paint on them and bring their own snack.

What the children do

A five week after school art class for children aged 9 to 12, taught by Jennifer O'Brien. Children shape clay, paint with watercolours and acrylics, draw with pastels and experiment with mixed media. Tuesdays 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm, 15 September to 13 October 2026. The class is run by one teacher on their own, and a child who needs one to one support is welcome to bring a responsible helper. The fee covers one child for the whole series.

Work at tables with clay, paint, pastels and mixed materials, taking a different project each week and finishing pieces to take home.

Good to know

Nothing is published about washrooms, lunch space, parking or step free access at the classroom. Children bring their own water bottle and a nut free snack.
