Our note

November is the month this becomes free, and it is also the month every other school in the region is thinking about Remembrance Day, so book early. Print the kids' quiz before you go. It is the only structured activity the museum publishes, and it turns a case-by-case walk into something a class can do. Nothing about group size, tour length or a booking deadline is published, so the first email should ask all three.

What the children do

The museum will work with a class's curriculum to provide students with a learning experience, and directs teachers to its listing on the BC Field Trips site. Guided tours for school groups are offered free of charge in November as part of the museum's Remembrance Day programming; no fee is published for school tours in other months. Two downloadable quizzes are offered as teacher resources: a tri-fold quiz with text and images for elementary and middle school classes, and a more advanced general knowledge quiz for older students, both in English only.
