What the children do

Field trips are named on the children's programs page as one of the things the Centre runs, alongside the Len Mayea Boatbuilding Booth and the Junior Captains camps. Nothing else about them is published: no length, no ages, no price, no group size, no lead time and no booking form. The page asks you to email cwbs@classicboats.org to ask about any of the children's programs. The boatbuilding course page separately mentions teaching school children the art of boat building in their workshop.

Sources disagree. Their own pages give three different answers for which days they are open, and two of them sit on the same page. One says every day, one says Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday closed, and one says every day in summer. Closing time is 4pm in all of them. Phone before you go.
