What the children do

Go through the house where Emily Carr was born and spent her childhood, either on a guided tour or working through a scavenger hunt in its rooms. The site does not describe the programs in any more detail than that.

The first floor of the house is wheelchair accessible; the accessible entrance is at the rear of the house down a gravel path. The second floor is only accessible by stairs.

Bus parking

Parking on the property is limited to 3 vehicles by the front fence, and the roundabout must stay clear for emergency vehicles, but visitors may be dropped off at the door. Free three-hour parking at Beacon Hill Park along Douglas Street.

Restrictions
