Hatley Castle museum visit

What it actually looks like
What the children do
The Hatley Castle museum, in the lower level of the castle, is open to visitors from May to September (subject to change). It holds two rooms. The Dunsmuir Room, with artifacts from James and Laura Dunsmuir's family life, and the Rear Admiral John A. Charles room, with Royal Roads Military College class photos, cadet uniforms, trophies and equipment, plus an entry hallway of panels introducing the Songhees and Esquimalt families and the early industrial development of the property. No separate admission price is published for the museum, and the same page's summary describes the museum visit as part of the guided walking estate tour, so it is unclear whether it can be entered on its own.
Walk down a panelled hallway and through two rooms, looking at cadet uniforms, trophies, photographs, documents and Dunsmuir family objects in cases.
