What the children do
A drop-in visit to the historic house on the east side of the museum building, run on published dates. The museum writes: 'Helmcken House was built by Dr. John Sebastian Helmcken, a surgeon with the Hudson's Bay Company. It is one of the oldest houses in British Columbia still on its original site.' The doctor's original 19th century medical kit is among the items on display. No admission price, opening times, duration, capacity or group booking route is published for the open house; the museum names Chris O'Connor, Program Developer, as the contact, and links a 360-degree virtual tour for visitors who cannot come in person.
