What the children do

The Vancouver Island Model Engineers (VIME) operate a miniature railway on the Heritage Acres site and give rides to the public on published dates. All VIME train rides are by donation, whether or not there is a gate charge that day. The Heritage Acres page says the rides are available from May to October, but the published run dates on it are the 2018/2019 season. VIME also hires the trains out for private events such as birthday parties; that booking is handled on VIME's own site, which was not opened.
