What it actually looks like
Our note
This is the one to pick if you already have beds at your centre and no idea what to do with them. They will also come to your garden instead, so ask which version you are being quoted for.
What the children do
A 1.5 hour program for preschool to grade 7 about running a school garden, covering what to plant and when, growing food, planting for pollinators and making habitat for garden animals. The site offers this either in their educational garden or at your own school garden. Program fees include entrance into the gardens, and no dollar amount is published.
Walk the educational garden with a facilitator, look at what is planted where and when it goes in, and work out what would grow in their own school garden.
Good to know
Washrooms are on site and most paths take strollers. The price, the maximum group size and the notice period are not published, so call before you plan the day.
