What it actually looks like

Our note
The youngest they take is 7, so a daycare group is out. Two hours on open water with no way to stop early asks a lot of a child who tires, so this suits an older group that will keep paddling.
What the children do
A two hour guided kayak tour covering less distance than the three hour tour. Depending on the wind it either heads out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca or explores Victoria's Inner Harbour, with chance encounters with harbour seals, river otters and many types of shore birds. Children 7 years and older. The price is $80 per paddler and reservations are required. The 1pm departure is listed daily, the 4pm departure runs May to September 15 and the 7pm departure runs June to August 31.
Put on a lifejacket and spray skirt on the floating dock, learn how to hold the paddle and steer, then paddle for two hours through the harbour or out past the breakwater, looking for seals, otters and shore birds.
Good to know
It all happens on the water with the gear provided, so there is no indoor space and no rain plan described. They do not mention washrooms of their own, and no group rate, group size limit or notice period is published.
Washrooms
The site does not mention washrooms of its own. It says of a neighbour, the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority, that public washrooms are available April to October.
