What it actually looks like
Our note
The gallery is a small street level space, so this is a short visit rather than a morning out. There is nowhere on site to eat that the gallery mentions, so plan lunch somewhere else. Ask which of their two galleries you are booked into, downtown or on campus, because the booking address is the same for both.
What the children do
A group visit to the current exhibitions with a short introduction from gallery staff. Offered free to university classes, school classes and community groups of all ages. To book, email the gallery with your group name, how many people are coming, which exhibitions you would like to see, your preferred date and time, and any special needs your group has.
Walk through the gallery rooms with a short spoken introduction to the exhibitions, then look at and talk about the works on the walls.
Good to know
