What it actually looks like

Photos from Miracle Beach Nature House's website
Our note
These are drop in rather than booked, and nothing on their site says when any of them run, so they are not something to build a trip around. The only schedule they point you to is the Nature House's own Instagram account. Worth a look again next spring, once the building reopens.

What the children do

Through the summer, Jerry's Rangers activities, special guest speakers, trivia nights and movie nights are held regularly in the amphitheatre near the Nature House. Discover Parks says entry to the Nature House and taking part in all activities is free, and points to the Miracle Beach Park page for upcoming events and to the Nature House's Instagram account for programme schedules and up to date hours. No dates, start times, ages, group sizes or booking route are published for any of these, and the individual pages for Jerry's Rangers here, for the arts and crafts sessions at the Nature House and for the Friday trivia nights are not live on their site.

Good to know

It all happens outdoors at the amphitheatre near the Nature House, in the summer season only. Washrooms and parking are at the day-use area, and the park has picnic areas and shelters.

Washrooms
The Miracle Beach Nature House can be reached from the day-use area parking lot. There is parking and washrooms available.
Lunch space
The park's own facility list includes picnic areas and picnic shelters, and there is a large picnic area overlooking the water. Nothing says whether a group may eat inside the Nature House.
