What it actually looks like

Our note
Ages 7 and up only, so this will not work for a preschool group. Each extra child in the same lesson is $50 for the half day, which is affordable for a handful of children and expensive for a whole class. Ask the ski shop by email how many children one instructor will take.

What the children do

Private lessons are for ages 7 and up. A half day lesson runs from 9:30am until noon or from 12:30pm until 3:00pm, is 2.5 hours and costs $91, with $50 for each additional guest. A single hour with an instructor is $41, with $24 for each additional guest. Prices do not include tax.

Ski or snowboard with one instructor who sets a plan for the group, either a long morning or afternoon block or a single hour spent learning to ride the lifts.

Good to know

Two fixed start times, 2.5 hours on the snow and a published price, but no maximum number of children per instructor is stated. Everything else about the day, from washrooms to lunch, is not described on the site.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give different days. One says Saturday, Sunday and select Mondays, the other says Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Mondays are the days school groups get, so settle the date when you book.
Sources disagree. The beginner package is priced two ways on their site, $47.25 plus tax on one page and $48 on the other. Ask which one applies when you book.
