Our note
This is a Sunday morning program for children who already ski on their own, not an outing you can book for a class of beginners. Sign up happens in person at the ski shop a week ahead, so someone has to be on the mountain the weekend before. Coaching questions go to the Wolfpack email on the lessons page.

What the children do

The Wolfpack is Mount Cain's junior racing and free skiing program for ages 6 to 14. It runs on Sundays starting the second weekend in January, costs $25 per morning for two hours of lessons and meets at 9:30am. The site says it is not a learn to ski or snowboard program and that participants must be able to ride the T-bar and ski intermediate terrain on their own before joining. Sign up in the ski shop one week in advance. Prices do not include tax.

Join a group of children at the same level and spend two hours of a Sunday morning riding with a coach, on the groomed runs and off them.

Good to know

Ages, price, start time and a week's notice are all published, which is more than the rest of the site gives. How many weeks it runs is not stated, and nothing about washrooms, lunch or shelter is described.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give different days. One says Saturday, Sunday and select Mondays, the other says Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Mondays are the days school groups get, so settle the date when you book.
Sources disagree. The beginner package is priced two ways on their site, $47.25 plus tax on one page and $48 on the other. Ask which one applies when you book.
