What it actually looks like

Our note
Three is the hard floor here and there is no way round it, since babies in carriers and slings are not allowed on the chair either. When we checked, summer tickets were only being sold at the kiosk or over the phone, so do not plan on booking online.

What the children do

A ride up the Eagle Express for views over the Salish Sea and Strathcona Provincial Park, with the option to get off at the peak and walk around before riding back down. Children must be 3 or older to ride and children under 3 are not allowed. Children in backpacks and newborns in slings are not permitted, and dogs cannot ride. If you hike up the trails, the ride down is free.

Sit on a chairlift for the ride up, walk around the mountain top, then ride back down or walk down the trail.

Good to know

This one is outdoors at altitude with no rain plan published. Nothing is stated about washrooms at the top or where a bus parks, so ask when you phone the ticket line.

Sources disagree. Their contact page gives two different notice periods for booking a lesson. One line says 48 hours ahead, another says 24 hours through the call centre with a cut off at noon the day before. Book as early as you can and get the date confirmed.
