What it actually looks like

Our note
This one is only listed on their booking form, with no description anywhere, so ask what it actually involves before you choose it over a program you can read about.

What the children do

An hour and a half archival research program for grades 9 to 12. It appears only on the museum's booking request form, and there is no description of it on the education programs page or a program sheet.

Good to know

Washrooms and a picnic area on site, and the building is wheelchair accessible with a courtesy wheelchair to borrow. Whether there is somewhere indoors to eat and where a bus can pull in are not stated, so it is worth a call.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give different grade ranges for the colonization program. One says grades 8 to 12 and the booking form says 6 to 12. If you have a grade 6 or 7 class, ask before you count on it.
Sources disagree. They give two different grade ranges for the archaeology program, one starting at grade 7 and one at grade 6. A grade 6 class may or may not be eligible, so check when you book.
Sources disagree. The Haig-Brown tour is described as two hours in one place and one hour in another. Plan your bus for the longer one and confirm the length when you book.
