It all happens on your screen in your own room, so the day stands or falls on your internet and a working projector. Sailing dates change every year, so ask early which weeks are on offer.
What the children do
A live video link with Ocean Networks Canada during an at sea expedition. Classes join by video conference and can ask scientists, engineers and ship crew about ocean science, technology and life at sea. Expedition dates move each year, but these sessions usually fall between May and September. Their page lists what you need at your end: an internet connection, Zoom, a projector or screen, speakers and a keyboard.
Watch and talk to scientists and crew on a working ship over a video call, and put their own questions to them.
Good to know
