U-cut Christmas tree visit
What it actually looks like
What the children do
The farm's fields open for the Christmas season so visitors can walk out and cut their own tree, alongside pre-cut trees, wreaths, swags, garland and greenery sold from Santa's Workshop. Hand saws and twine are supplied and there is free hot apple cider. Trees are priced per foot, between $8 and $15 a foot in the 2025 season, and no tree under 6 feet may be cut in the fields. The farm publishes nothing about school or group visits, so there is no group rate, no capacity and no booking route on the site.
Walk out across acres of planted trees to pick one, then watch it come down with a hand saw from the farm and be carried back and tied to the car. Signs through the farm name the different kinds of tree, and there is free hot apple cider.
Good to know
This is an outdoor working farm and the site says nothing about washrooms, indoor shelter or anywhere a group could sit and eat. The season is short, roughly mid November to just before Christmas, so ring well ahead.
