What it actually looks like
Our note
A good fit for a class that likes a puzzle to solve rather than a talk to listen to. Ask when you book whether this one uses the touch pool, since the site does not say.
What the children do
A facilitated program for kindergarten to grade 2 about how Salish Sea animals eat. Students work out what seastars eat and how a jelly catches its food, exploring feeding behaviours through hands-on learning and interactive activities set up as a mystery to solve.
Handle materials and work through clues with the educator to figure out which animal has which kind of mouth and how each one catches its food.
Good to know
One hour indoors, up to 22 children, with one free teacher and a free chaperone for every 5. There is no room inside to eat lunch and washrooms are not mentioned on the site.
