What it actually looks like

Our note
This is the only option here that does not involve a night away, which makes it the realistic one for a younger group. Nothing about it is priced or age limited on the site, so make your first email ask what the youngest children they take are and what a day costs for each child.

What the children do

A single day at the lodge for a school group, drawn from the same activity list as the residential weeks. They describe exploring the lake by canoe, learning about local flora and fauna on the trails, practising wilderness skills and building trust on the high ropes course. No price, age range, group size, start time or finish time is published. Everything is quoted after an email.

Paddle a canoe on the lake, walk the trails looking at the plants and animals of coastal British Columbia, try wilderness skills, or work through the high ropes course together.

Good to know

Washrooms and a restaurant are on site, and the property is 160 acres of trails, beaches and lakefront. Step free access, rain backup and bus parking are not covered anywhere on the site, so it is worth a call.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give different addresses for the person who books school programs. If one bounces, try the other, or ring the lodge. We use the one from their school programs page.
